I played this in one sitting like two months ago so this is going to be extremely brief. This is a fun little puzzle game, the solutions are consistently challenging but not so much that you're beating your head against a wall. The gimmick of running between signs is a fun idea, I like the way a not-so-typical aspect of the environment like construction signs are characterised and utilised as playable space. It's awesome how the camera is always focused on the little guy in the sign, but casually pans over these extremely detailed backdrops which could be entire levels in themselves. I remember there being these puzzles that would come up pretty frequently where you'd have to gather a bunch of items to advance? I found these pretty annoying. I think the best puzzle games are ones that have immediate cause/effect. I want to shoot my portal gun and go through the portal, not walk back and forth for 40 minutes gathering items to open a door. It slows stuff down and makes it feel tedious. Other than that, most of the other puzzles are cool. I also liked the extremely subtle environmental storytelling; they gradually hint at the fact that there's someone experimenting on the signs to bring the little guys to life. You eventually make your way to this mystery guy, and the perspective switches to his, becoming a first-person game for the last few levels. I thought this was a cool gameplay twist but the puzzles that you have to do as him are super annoying and unclear, it left a sour taste in my mouth as it was the only puzzle I had to google the solution to. This is a fun little puzzle game, probably get it on sale or through a sub service. Overall pretty forgettable, not doing anything new but worth checking out if you're a real puzzle fiend.
